Outcomes against the UNESCO competency framework
A living dashboard of learning gains, equity shifts and wellbeing indicators across the UNESCO × learnOS fellowship. Updated in real time as cohorts report data.
This page is a mock. All charts, percentages and counts shown below are illustrative placeholders. They will be replaced by live data from the field once Cohort 01 instruments are deployed and validated by AUC.

UNESCO competency framework
Five domains, one shared yardstick
We assess outcomes against UNESCO's transversal competencies, GCED objectives, digital literacy framework and SDG 4 indicators — so results are comparable across contexts.
Knowledge acquisition
Subject mastery across literacy, numeracy and discipline content as defined in the UNESCO Global Framework of Reference on Digital Literacy & Curriculum.
Higher-order skills
Critical thinking, problem solving, creativity and digital fluency (UNESCO Transversal Competencies, ERI-Net).
Values & attitudes
Global citizenship, sustainability, empathy and ethical use of technology (UNESCO GCED learning objectives).
Learner agency & wellbeing
Self-direction, motivation, and socio-emotional wellbeing — aligned with UNESCO Futures of Education.
Equity & inclusion
Gap closure across gender, language, and socio-economic background (UNESCO 2030 Education indicators).
Statistical view
Distribution and trajectory
Two illustrative chart formats the live dashboard will use: proficiency banding and longitudinal trend.
Proficiency distribution
Share of learners by competency band (mock data).
- Emerging18%
- Developing34%
- Proficient32%
- Advanced16%
Composite score over time
Six-month moving average across all five competency domains (mock data).
Equity lens
Closing the gap, not just lifting the average
UNESCO indicators require disaggregation. Every metric on this page will be reported by gender, language of instruction, rural/urban and socio-economic quartile.
Target ≥ 0.97
Narrowed from −17
vs +11 overall
Methodology
How outcomes will be measured
AUC moderates the research direction and signs off on every instrument. Outcomes are triangulated across learner assessments, teacher reports and platform telemetry. No metric is published from a single source.
- Pre-specified outcomes against the UNESCO 5×3 competency matrix
- Validated instruments, piloted before each cohort
- Disaggregation by gender, language and socio-economic quartile
- Independent AUC review prior to any public release
- Open record of changes, qualifications and counterfactuals
Live data coming
Cohort 01 instruments deploy next term
Once data clears AUC moderation, this page becomes a live dashboard — refreshed as fellows report from the field.
